The Tribeca Loft Cherry Credenza Executive Desk by Kathy Ireland gets every detail right. While trying to make itself the perfect desk for the high-tech home office, the little things remain important with cast iron drawer handles that say 19th century, not 21st. The double pedestal provides both a row of drawers for your important documents and office supplies and a designated CPU cabinet with a Power Communication Center, with jacks for your telephone, Internet access, and fax machine, which were engineered for conference rooms and training tables. The CPU cabinet is 14W x 20.75H inches with an adjustable shelf. This desk features two glass "bookend" cases for displaying anything from rare books to autographed baseballs. The desk also contains six drawers for easy organization. The drawers have superior-level construction with ball bearing glides and strong joint connection that can accommodate 50-pound loads. The pencil drawer can be converted to a keyboard drawer. The top two drawers in the row of three are utility drawers, one with dividers, for small office supplies like staplers. The bottom two drawers are lockable vertical files for your important documents. The desk is made of cherry/elm wood solids, a combination of cherry and elm; and cherry veneers, a thin layer of cherry attached to a stronger "mixed" piece of wood for strength and durability.
