In 1904, Schaaf & Schnaus purchased the mill that furnished most of the materials used for the construction of new homes and mercantile buildings of Jasper, Indiana. In 1928, the company was renamed Jasper Cabinet Company and has been a prominent leader and innovator in American-made accent furniture ever since.
